I was thinking about why Betty Crocker would expand to include these products and I came across a story on the side of their box and also on their web site. Why Go Gluten Free?
Not long ago, two of our co-workers found themselves in the gluten free world. Linc was diagnosed with Celiac disease, and Colleen’s family switched to the diet for her son’s well-being.

Their experiences opened our eyes to the challenges families face following the diet. It’s hard to be different, especially when it affects sweet moments with friends and family. No one wants to miss sharing a birthday cake or see their child have to turn down a homemade cookie from a buddy after a game.

We hope we can help by bringing you these mixes for gluten free desserts that look and taste like the treats you’ve been longing to share. Finally, Betty Crocker® Gluten Free!

I think it is great that they expanded for those workers and the rest of us who follow the diet. It will be nice to have a birthday cake or brownies that are Betty Crocker.

I [...]]]> As part of my blog I will do weekly reviews of food items that are gluten free and have “gluten-free” advertised on the label. There will be a wide variety of products so keep checking in too see what new items are featured. They could range from frozen, to boxed to foods in bags. I will tell you where I got the product and how much it was. Also I will describe the preparation needed to prepare the products (if needed).
Along with that information I will give you a personal review of what I thought of the product. I am going to judge the taste and how likely I am going to buy that same product. Hopefully after reading my reviews you will try the product (if the ratings are good of course!) and let us know what you think!
